Age and requirements
Yes. Rented jet skis on Lake George require tour-guide supervision under Lake George Park Commission rules, so rentals run as guided rides.
A certificate is required to operate a PWC on Lake George; ask your marina about livery rules.

What to bring
Sun protection, water, a light layer, a dry bag, and the ID and certificate your marina asks for. Life jackets are required for every person.
Rules
Jet skis (PWCs) may operate from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Lake George.
Parasailing is only allowed with a Lake George Park Commission permit. Any partner must hold one.
